Okay just a little rant today. Why is it that I keep getting asked if I am a parent when I go to shows? Or which one out there is my kid?  Just because yes I technically could have a child at a show does not mean that I don’t enjoy the music of the bands that I go to see. Sure there are those nights that I am out covering a band and I am not a fan but hello if I am singing along with everyone else, don’t you get the idea that I actually like the band?

At this point in my life I am able to go see the bands I like. I can road trip etc and see them multiple times if I so wish. Age is just a number. I’m sure there are some days we all feel like we are 90 and there are other days where we feel 15 again (heaven help us with that). 

I don’t go around asking the kids if they are old enough to drive themselves to the shows or if their parents brought them. But I also won’t look down on you because you are a kid. Your opinions matter just like everyone else’s. Okay, enough of my soapbox here!
